The famous Lake Travis Independent School District (LTISD) offers educational Independent School in the region of Lake Travis and Girls School, about twenty miles west of Austin. The tranquility and natural beauty of the area contrast with the proximity of facilities in the greater Austin. First included in Dripping Springs Independent School District and Girls School, was founded in 1981 LTISD. The district currently has more than 5,800 students.
